Ms. So has approximately 22 years of professional experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, ESG reporting, IT control reviews, and financial due diligence. She specializes in providing services to clients across various industries, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal audit, internal control and risk management system reviews, enterprise risk assessments, ESG report preparation, and other consulting services.

 

Ms. So has delivered internal control reviews and ESG reporting services to nearly 60 listed companies and IPO projects. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing review procedures for clients from diverse sectors, as well as evaluating the adequacy of internal control systems across different business operations. She has also been involved in enhancing internal controls, streamlining processes, and conducting ESG reviews for numerous organizations. Her expertise includes leading teams in executing internal control reviews for listed companies and performing agreed-upon procedures for Chinese companies applying for listing on the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX).

Before joining ShineWing in 2009, Dr. Ho worked in the tax division of one of the Big Four accounting firms in Hong Kong for around 20 years. He has extensive experience in providing tax advisory services, including corporate restructuring for IPOs, field audits and investigations, as well as corporate and operational restructuring for cross-border investments.

 

Dr. Ho is also actively involved in community and academic affairs. He currently serves as a doctoral thesis supervisor at the University of Warwick in the UK. In addition, he is a co-opted member of the Qualification and Examinations Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
